Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

LiveMenu is a digital ordering platform that enables customers to browse menus, place orders, and make payments at participating merchants. LiveMenu acts as a technology intermediary and does not sell or fulfil food or beverage items directly.

Customer Refunds

If you are unhappy with your order, please raise the issue directly with the merchant at the point of sale. Merchants are responsible for the quality and fulfilment of all orders placed through their LiveMenu menu.

Where a refund is warranted, the merchant will process it within 48 hours of the original transaction. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

Order Cancellations

Once an order has been placed and payment confirmed, cancellations are subject to the merchant's discretion. If the order has not yet been prepared, the merchant may cancel and issue a full refund.

If preparation has already begun, a partial refund or no refund may apply depending on the merchant's policy.

Payment Disputes

All payments are processed securely by Paystack. LiveMenu does not store or hold customer funds at any point. In the event of an unauthorised transaction or payment dispute, please contact your bank or card issuer directly. You may also reach out to us at support@livemenu.co.za and we will assist in liaising with the relevant parties.

Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants using LiveMenu agree to honour refund requests where the fault lies with the quality or fulfilment of the order. LiveMenu reserves the right to suspend merchant accounts where refund disputes are consistently unresolved.
